Created for Care 2012!

For the longest time, actually since early last year when I heard about Created For Care retreats, I have been longing to go.  There is something special about being in a place full of other women who God has called to adopt.  Knowing they share the same heart for orphans, they share your passion and compassion, and knowing they just might be as unprepared as you are...makes you feel right at home.

So I have been hoping and dreaming of coming for a LONG time.  I actually registered to go, and then because of a lack of funds, I cancelled and got my money back.  I couldn't figure out how I could go and yet not have the money for it.  Next thing you know, the retreat was plum full!  Oh well, maybe next year.

Then the other day someone told me they couldn't go, couldn't get a refund, and they offered me their spot.  WOW!  So I told hubby about it and asked him to join me in praying, "Lord, if you want me to go, please just make a way."

What do you know?  I have just a wee bit over the amount of airline miles needed to get a ticket to Georgia for FREE!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you God!  So I am going to the retreat!  The cost of the retreat is minimal, as is the hotel and car rental if we split it between several women.  I am just so excited to be able to join other moms, to encourage them in their journey, and to glean all I can from them too.

Again, thank you Lord for providing the way.  I can't even imagine how wonderful this is going to be!!!!!!
