Interesting Changes....in ME!

First of all, please don't think I am tooting my horn or bragging or anything like that.  I hate talking about myself!  I hate being the center of attention.  However for the sake of testifying to how God works, I thought I would share what has been on my mind and heart these last few days.

I was thinking just the other day how it is so interesting that the Lord is changing me through this adoption.  I have always been a tender-hearted, loving person.  Never have I been a person that avoids deep relationships or loving on others.  One of the greatest joys in life to me is to shower others with encouragement, love, and affection....even though it can be difficult due to the fear of rejection in me.

However, it feels like my heart is more full of love than ever before and not just for Chloe but for all others.  Is it all stemming from the adoption journey?  Is it from feeling so blessed and privileged to be chosen to adopt?  Maybe it is because we are being supported and loved through the process?  Maybe it is because of the love of God being poured out upon us?  I am not sure.  I just know that I can feel and sense more love coming out of me these days.....and I like it :)

God works in amazing and wonderful ways.  He pours out His love into our hearts to share with others....we are loved in some of the best and most wonderful ways through the hands of His loving servants.  I remember reading a great book called, "On Being a Servant of God" where the author explains that Ministry takes place when divine resources meet human needs through LOVING channels to the glory of God.

So if you are one of those people (and there are many of you out there!!!) who have been loving on us lately,

from the bottom of our hearts!  We know very well that we have truly wonderful friends and family who love us despite who we are as people, what our faults are, and where we are at personally.  We love you more and more these days....not just because of your love and support and friendship, but because the Lord grows it in our hearts more and more!!
