Just the other day I was talking to our gal at our adoption agency about wanting to move on and not have to wait for the FBI clearance. It can be soooo frustrating when all you need is the one little piece of paper saying you are cleared with the FBI. It had only been 5 weeks, and they said it was taking on average 12 weeks for everyone else to get their letters.
So what a SURPRISE it was today to find it in the mail :) I quickly called our gal at AGCI and asked her if she needed a copy or the original. I was hoping to simply fax her a copy which would be so much quicker, but she said she needed the exact document. The boys and I then raced to the post office and mailed it off via Priority Mail. That means next week we get to hear who our case worker is, when we can meet with her for the first time, and we can get this show on the road!!!

YAY!!! Still remember how happy I was to get ours back!! Ours took 8 weeks and 2 days...so glad yours was much shorter!!!
It is such a great feeling when your paperwork gets finished. Every piece is a step forward toward your little one waiting!

Congrats on getting to this stage. SO exciting as you get to check one more item off the list and be one step closer.
